One such Discord integration is with PlayStation Network. This will not only display your PSN account on your Discord profile, but also show what PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 game you’re playing.
Here’s how to connect your PSN account to Discord.
How to Connect PSN to Discord
Discord’s integration with PSN is available on every platform that Discord is available on, which includes Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
However, it’s rolling out gradually, so you might find the process isn’t available for you yet. In that case, try again in a few days.
To link your PSN account to Discord:
Open Discord and select User Settings. On desktop, it’s the cog icon. On mobile, swipe right and tap your profile picture. Select Connections. On mobile, you also need to tap Add. Select the PlayStation Network icon. This opens a browser window for Sony’s website. Sign in, if you’re not already. Then, if you agree to share your PSN data with Discord, click Accept. Once complete, you will see a message that reads: Connected your PlayStation Network account to Discord. You can then close the browser window.
How to Customize Discord’s PSN Integration
With your PSN account connected, head back to the Connections page on Discord. You should see your PSN profile listed.
By default, both Display on profile and Display PlayStation Network as your status are enabled. The former adds a link to your PSN profile to your Discord profile. The latter shows what PS4 or PS5 game you’re playing as your Discord status.
If the PlayStation game you’re playing doesn’t appear as your Discord status, you need to edit your PSN privacy settings.
On the PS4, go to Settings > Account Management > Privacy Settings > Personal Info.
On the PS5, go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Privacy > View and Customize Your Privacy Settings.
Once here, set Online Status and Now Playing to Anyone. Your Discord status will immediately update to reflect the change.
